Program Details

Join us for this full day program exploring the advanced skill set necessary for clinicians to confidently recognize and treat anxiety and depression in women. An in depth review of serious psychiatric issues will cover the approach for diagnosis, DSM-V terminology, and comprehensive management. In addition, we will review the unique ethical and clinical challenges inherent in prescribing for pre conception, pregnant and breastfeeding women. 

About the Presenter

Adria Goodness CNM, PMHNP is a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwife in Portland, Oregon. She completed her Master of Nursing (Midwifery) and her Post-Master certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Oregon Health and Science University. From 2003 to 2013, Adria worked as a CNM in the Portland area. In 2011, she opened a private psychiatric practice.  Adria now treats pre conception, pregnant, and postpartum women with emotional and psychiatric illness in her specialty focus of reproductive psychiatry.
